After almost 40 years in business, this was San Diego Frame Manufacturing's first product brochure. In the past, all sales were handled through distributors producing thier own catalogs.

The catalog was also produced with a new logo to present a new branding for an established company which had operated behind the curtain.

Due to the client's many finishes and product lines, it was necessary to include a comprehensive table of contents and user key explaining how to understand the client's product codes.

The San Diego Frame Company offers a high end product geared towards the arts community including artists and art buyers such as interior decorators and musium staff. The brochure was designed to appeal to the arts.

The frames were shown as large as possible to show case the client's many woods and frame styles. The backgrounds were presented in different colors, and quotes, from famous artists were included throughout to lend beauty and appeal to the creative mind.

In some cases, reproductions of master art works were included in the frames. Spot varnish was used on all frame images to pop out the finish. This catalog was designed as both product catalog and inspirational reading to lend to a long shelf life.
